These services are held at Kingsbridge and are especially suitable for 4-7 year olds and their families although older and younger children are very welcome. The afternoon starts with crafts and other activities to choose from. Previous services have included decorating buns and biscuits, making pizzas, cards and hats, painting, printing and playdoh and puzzles and games. This is followed by a short story, songs and prayers and then for those who are able to stay its upstairs for a picnic tea for the children and the chance to eat what they have made and cakes and coffee for the adults. This is a very informal time and old clothes are best so you don't have to worry about paint splashes or icing sugar.
